What does elderflower taste like? I don't know exactly, but I like it in this drink! While my friends and I were ultimately split on this newest canned cocktail from Cutwater, I'm a fan. This canned cocktail is actually a vodka based drink mixed with elderflower, lemon, and pure sugar cane. This cocktail is super light - and NOT a hard seltzer which seems to be trying to take over the world lately. This new flavor might just replace my old Cutwater favorite - their grapefruit Vodka Soda.

I'm not a big fan of ginger, so I've always been a little skeptical of mules, but in this case it totally worked for me. This Vodka Mule was strong, spicy and just darn good. The ginger comes through right away with a spiciness that took me by surprise. What really sets this one apart is how much stronger and fresher the ginger taste is. The only thing missing for me was the salt but I think you could get creative and salt the rim of your can. It is definitely a major step up from using one of the old school margarita mixes.
